Youth and adolescence can be exciting but brutal – rapid changes during this time of transition can present significant struggles.
A stunning 1 in 5 adolescents experience a mental health disorder each year.
School-based therapy offers a safe and supportive space where young people can process their emotions, build coping skills, and navigate the complexities of growing up.
Our school-based therapists, located in schools in Sheridan, Littleton, Douglas County, Englewood, and Cherry Creek, provide assessments and individual, family, and group therapy. One key advantage of our service is the immediate referral options, ensuring that students and their families can quickly access the support they need.
We offer therapeutic services directly in schools, eliminating barriers to care, such as transportation issues, and fostering collaboration with school staff, leading to more successful outcomes.
The school-based team also has a licensed therapist available for Englewood and Littleton School district staff, a licensed therapist who facilitates various substance use prevention groups, and two school-based mental health specialists who offer training to staff, parents, and students, as well as consultation and crisis support.
